College ID Cards & Parking Permits         770-720-5543

The Reinhardt Student ID Card, also called the EagleCard, is the official Reinhardt College identification card. It is also used for meal plans, library privileges, after hours access to facilities, and residence hall entry.  All students of Reinhardt are required to have an EagleCard for identification purposes.

All vehicles parked on the Waleska Campus must display a valid Reinhardt College parking decal. Decals are color coded for residential students, commuter students and faculty/staff members. The decal color indicates the parking areas available to the driver of that vehicle. To order a parking permit, a new student must register online at http://www.thepermitstore.com. (In the "Enter your parking destination" blank, enter Reinhardt College.)  Please register for your permit at least two weeks prior to your orientation session to allow for processing.

During NSO, the Office of Public Safety will be available to take student ID pictures, issue EagleCards and hand out parking permits ordered in advance via http://www.thepermitstore.com

 Office of Information Technology              770-720-5555

The Office of Information Technology (IT) handles all computing, network, phone and cable TV responsibilities for the Reinhardt campus. Each student residing on the Reinhardt College campus is provided local area phone service through the campus phone system, network and Internet access through the campus network, and cable TV services through the campus video network.

Phone service includes both local area calling and voice mail.* Network access includes e-mail service and network storage capabilities. Cable TV services include the standard cable channels as well as the RCTV station.

Each residence hall room is equipped with outlets and/or jacks for these services,**  but students must provide their own equipment. If you have any questions about the compatibility or your telephone, computer or television, please contact the Office of Information Technology.

Students wishing to bring their own computers to campus are welcome to do so, but any Reinhardt student has access to computers spread across the entire campus. In addition to four computer labs in classroom locations, computer access is also provided in the library, residential common areas and in several specialized labs across campus. In order to take full advantage of computer network services from within a residence hall room, your personal computer should be IBM compatible. For maximum utilization, at least 256 MB of memory and a Pentium-based operating system running a minimum of Windows 2000 are recommended. In order to connect your PC to the Reinhardt network a NIC (network interface card) and a category 5 network patch cable must be purchased and installed.

PLEASE NOTE: The Office of Information Technology is not responsible for maintaining or upgrading student PCs and is not an authorized repair center for computer equipment. Any hardware or software installation should be handled through agencies outside of the campus.

*Long distance calls can be made only with the use of calling cards with an 800 number.

** These jacks are located in a 4 ½ inch square, ivory colored wall plate. The top left jack is for the phone connection, the bottom left jack is the cable TV connection, and the two (upper and lower) connectors on the right hand side are data connections for computers.
