Frequently Asked Questions about New Student Orientation
The following questions are some of the ones we hear the most around here from new students and their families. Browse through them, and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
Do I have to attend the New Student Orientation program?
Yes! All incoming new students to the Main Campus in Waleska (freshmen, transfers, non-traditional, commuters and residents) are required to attend New Student Orientation, NSO. This program is designed to help you start your college experience on the right foot and to get you signed up for your first semester of classes. If you come to NSO with a good attitude and are prepared to meet new people, we guarantee it will be worth your while! Remember that you are not alone...everyone else is probably just as nervous and excited as you are.
What should my guest(s) and I wear to New Student Orientation?
The New Student Orientation program will take you and your guest to virtually every end of the Reinhardt campus. Please feel free to dress in casual clothes and comfortable shoes.
