What are employers looking for in a recent graduate?
What are some key attributes employers seek in candidates they are considering for openings? Major is obviously important when hiring for specific skill sets, and employers are also highly influenced by a candidate’s leadership experience. However, in the chart below all attributes listed show at least “somewhat of an influence” on employers’ hiring decisions, especially when deciding between two equally qualified candidates. (See Figure 37.)
