These are tasks to be done every day. Additional projects and work will be assigned on a daily basis.
Mail
Check to see if Jennifer or Janna has any mail that needs to be taken downstairs. As you take the mail downstairs, you can pick up the mail at the Switchboard (will need combinations for boxes). This can be done more than once a day.
Thank You Notes
I will put these in your work area if there are any to be done. As you complete a group, put a "612" sticker on them and take them down to the mail room before you leave for the day. If a card has a Waleska address, put a "Waleska" sticker on them.
Birthday Cards
I will put these in your work area if there are any to be done. As you complete a group, put a "612" sticker on them and take them down to the mail room before you leave for the day. If a card has a Waleska address, put a "Waleska" sticker on them.
Check out the work area to see if there is any vacuuming or straightening up that needs to be done. I will attempt to put projects for you in your regular work area. However, I am busy and forgetful. So, check with Jennifer to see if there is any work to do.
If Jennifer is not in the office or does not have anything for you to do, check with Janna Moore to see if she needs your help.
Other notes
If you are not able to come to work during your scheduled work time, it is important that you call Jennifer (x5509) or Janna (x5621). If you reach Jennifer, it is not necessary to call Janna. If you have to leave a message for Jennifer, please call Janna also. There are times that we may have something we are counting on you to do or that I have told Janna that you can help with.
We must follow the guidelines that all other student workers follow. You are only to get paid for time that you are working. You do not get paid for lunch time. You are welcome to take lunch time, but you will not be able to count it on your timesheet.
When you are stuffing a mailing for us, please take it to the mailroom when completed unless we tell you otherwise. Simply place a rubber band around it and put a "612" sticker on the stack. Always pull out any pieces going to a Waleska address. They need to be in a separate stack with a sticker that says "Waleska" and "612." There is a separate mail slot for Waleska mail downstairs at the Switchboard.
