- No, Novell is only used for college owned computers.
Is there a campus backbone network?
- The backbone network has miles of installed fiber optic cable. Each building is connected to the fiber optic cable through a combination of 10 MB Ethernet, 100MB and Gigabit (1000MB) network connections.
How is the campus network connected to the Internet?
- The network (including the North Fulton location) is attached to the Internet via six T1 (1.5MB) links, three for students and three for faculty and staff.
