Student Government Association
Student self-government plays a significant role in shaping the quality of student life at Reinhardt College. Established in 1957, the Student Government Association represents all segments of the student body and is organized to help formulate and voice student opinion regarding college policies and to allocate its funding to appropriate committees and student organizations.
Visit the Clubs & Organizations page to learn more about how to start a club, a list of clubs we currently have, and the Club & Organization Handbook.
Participation in this important organization is open to all students through voting in SGA elections, attending Senate meetings, volunteering for one of the many SGA committees and sharing questions and concerns about campus issues.
The four divisions in the Student Government Association are:
- Executive, which consists of the administrative and managing officers (President, Vice President for Administration, Vice President for Student Activities, Treasurer, and Secretary);
- Legislative, which consists of the Student Senate;
- Judicial, which consists of the Judicial Hearing Council; and
- Event Planning/Programming, which consists of the Student Activities Council.
