The third weekend in October will be a special time for Reinhardt University. Alumni and friends are invited to the Waleska campus to join current students, faculty and staff Homecoming 2014. Homecoming Weekend includes the Talent Show, Football Game, Alumni Reunions, Fall Festival, and much more.

Monday, September 29
9 PM-12 AM Block Party, Hasty Student Life Center, Plaza
Let’s kick off Homecoming Week with a Block Party!!! Come out for music, food, vendors, games and so much more.
Tuesday, September 30
3 PM-5 PM Men’s Soccer vs. Georgia Gwinnett College, Athletic Field
Come out and support the Eagles as they take on the Grizzlies of Georgia Gwinnet College.
Thursday, October 2
12 PM-1 PM Pep Rally, Hasty Student Life Center, Plaza
Let's cheer on our team for the homecoming game, with a Pep Rally on the Hasty Plaza. The Marching Eagles, “SOAR, The Eagle”, the cheerleaders, and the football team will be on hand to get you fired up for the big game. Students, don't forget to pick-up your official "Blue Out" the game Homecoming T-shirt at the Pep Rally so that the stands will be awash in blue for Saturday's football game.
Friday, October 3
7 PM-9 PM Talent Show, Falany Performing Arts Center
Our Annual Talent Show is here again! Join your talented RU Students as they compete to be the winners of the 2014 RU Talent Show w/ Special Guest Host Erik Rivera! Enjoy an evening of entertainment at the Student Talent Show! Whether your student performs or not, you are sure to take pleasure in this event. Because there is limited seating in the Concert Hall of the Falany Performing Arts Center, we recommend that you arrive early as seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Saturday, October 4
9 AM-12 PM RU Tailgating, Rollins Wellness Complex Parking Lot
Tailgating is rapidly becoming a Reinhardt tradition before the Eagles take the field. Nothing could be better than gathering with friends before home football games. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis starting 4 hours prior to kick-off. What is a tailgate without great food? Groups may bring their own picnic items and food to the tailgate parking area. Tailgating is a vibrant and family friendly environment. Please be respectful of those surrounding you. All groups are responsible for making sure their tailgating area is cleaned prior to departing for the game.
10:30 PM-12 PM Silver Anniversary Class of 1989 Reunion, Boring Sports Complex
A private tailgating luncheon complements of the Alumni Office. Classmates will receive a Silver Anniversary Medallion commemorating the occasion and will be recognized during the half-time program at the football game.
12 PM-2 PM Football Game vs. Union College, Athletic Fields
Come out and Cheer the Eagles to victory as they take on the Union College Bulldogs. During halftime, the 2014 Homecoming Court will be presentation and the Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned. Don't forget to "Blue Out" the game! RU Fans are encouraged to wear blue to show their Eagle Pride.
3 PM-6 PM Fall Festival, Rollins Sports Complex Lawn
Not ready to go home after the game? Join us for Music, Inflatable Attractions, Carnival Games and so much more! Reinhardt students work hard; they also play hard. The Fall Festival offers Reinhardt students and their families fun-filled activities including music, carnival games, inflatable attractions, and more. Plenty of opportunities to frolic are in the offering for the young and young-at-heart alike. Food will be provided by Sodexo for Students, Faculty and Staff. You will receive a free food ticket that you can pick up at the designated ticket booth. There will be food available for purchase for Alumni and community members.
10 PM-1 AM Homecoming Dance Featuring the Joe Neary Band, Bannister Glasshouse
The evening’s band has gained the reputation of putting on high quality live shows, whether it be acoustically or with a full band. Their various influences of pop, alternative, jazz and blues help create an interesting song selection throughout the show. The flow between various styles provide both energy and emotion, and the audience can be found dancing one song and listening intently the next. The band can also perform a multitude of covers including Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Mumford and Sons and Daft Punk. So, come on out to this awesome event, hosted by the Student Activities Council. This is one event you don’t want to miss!
