Recreation Clubs

Etiquette Club

Advisor: Peggy Collins

The Etiquette Club is a social group expanding cultural capital of students for future success, while focusing on preparing students for international, political and social events.

Humans versus Zombies

President: Justin Buddenhagen
Advisor: Matthew Anderson

The purpose of the HvZ Club is to organize and run large-scale games on the RU campus. Although the club runs other games, we mainly focus on the popular campus-wide game of Humans vs. Zombies.

League of Legends

Advisor: Amy McGee

This club is dedicated to MOBA enthusiasts (with an emphasis on LoL). League of Legends is a massive online battle arena (MOBA) game with over 12 million players worldwide. We are committed to providing both a fun and engaging community for any player at Reinhardt University who wants one, and to providing an official Reinhardt University team with the purpose of playing against other schools/universities and at special events.

Magic the Gathering

President: Ethan Cole
Advisor: Dr. Struchtemeyer

Magic the Gathering at Reinhardt is a club in which students of all skill levels, from novice to expert, can meet regularly for casual and competitive Magic: the Gathering gameplay. Each week we meet for free-form casual play, EDH, draft, or constructed tournaments. If you don't know what those are or don't think you have a good enough collection or high enough skill level to participate, we'll help you establish a strong foundation in this great game.

RU Hammock Hangers

Advisor: Derek Struchtemeyer

RU Hammock Hangers is Reinhardt’s Hammock Club created by students who wanted to turn their love for spending time in hammocks into fellowship for anyone who might share their interest. This group of hammock-loving students can been seen stringing up their hammocks in trees and in many other places on campus. Don’t worry, if you don’t have a hammock simply check one out from Reinhardt Central.
