Swing Dance

Lesson will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm; then we will have open dancing as late as you want. If you aren't interested in dancing, come just to hang out!

FAQ

Q: Who can come to the swing dance?
A: The dance is primarily for students, faculty, and staff at RC. However guests are always welcome. We want as many people as possible to enjoy this fun activity!

Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Not really. Just your wonderful self and some water. However the following are standing requests: Please bring a friend!

Q: Do I need a dance partner?
A: No. There will be plenty of people without partners. We will have someone with whom you can dance.

Q: Do I have to know how to dance already?
A: No. We welcome and encourage complete beginners. That is why we offer lessons. As long as you are ready to have fun, you will enjoy yourself, no matter the skill level.

Q: What should I wear?
A: It should be something comfortable that allows you to move. Most people like to dress up a little...maybe dress pants and a nice shirt/a nice dress. It is totally personal choice.
