U.S. Presidents and relations with China and Asia

Presidential Relations with ChinaChia Siok Leng will present a talk on the panels hanging in the library about U.S. Presidents and relations with China and Asia.

Learn about the artistic panels depicting U.S. Presidents and China/Asia relations in the Hill Freeman Library and Spruill Learning Center from their donor, Chia Siok Leng, who lives in nearby Lake Arrowhead. These panels have been displayed at the Nixon, Carter and George H.W. Bush presidential libraries in exhibits sponsored by the National Association of Chinese Americans (NACA).

Several additional panels will also be donated to Reinhardt during this presentation.

This program is also in memory of Dr. Robert Driscoll, our late vice president for academic affairs and dean of student. She enjoyed many conversations with him on China, life and other subjects.

Tea will be provided

The presentation will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 28, 2012 in the library.
