Sebastian Bäverstam, Cellist

Award winning cellist, Sebastian Bäverstam, to perform at the Falany Performing Arts Center! A winner of the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Concerto Competition, Sebastian BäBaverstam performed the Shostakovich Concerto with the BSO at Symphony Hall.  A winner of 2009 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, he has appeared multiple times on the nationally syndicated radio show From the Top, and he has also been heard on the international radio broadcasts of Voice of America.

Praised by The Strand for his "...powerfully expressive style," Sebastian Bäverstam has also recently had other concerto performances with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, Boston Civic Symphony, Brockton Symphony.  He has toured internationally, including such areas as China, Venezuela and Brazil as a soloist with the New England Conservatory Youth Philharmonic Orchestra
