Caribbean Sound 

From traditional Calypso to contemporary classics and original compositions, this talented group has shared the wonderful sound of the steel pan to audiences across the nation.  Caribbean Sound has been touring the U.S. since 1986, bringing their fantastic talents to colleges and universities, arts centers, symphony orchestras, outdoor summer concerts and educational programs.  Along with performing, Caribbean Sound has appeared with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. 

New to the stage at the Falany Performing Arts Center, this steel pan group is sure to please guests as the acoustics in the hall help to enhance the experience.  This one-of-a-kind ensemble provides an opportunity to cross cultural barriers and discover the amazing influences from around the world that came together to create the steel pan.  A wonderful family show, this group will have the audience dancing in the isles!
