By Drew Hulse

The construction of Eagles View, Reinhardt University’s newest residence hall, is officially underway as enrollment increases and plans for continued growth come to fruition.

The 52,000-square-foot structure will feature a central learning hub flanked by two wings that will accommodate 192 students total. Upon completion, Eagles View will be Reinhardt University’s largest residence hall by square footage and number of beds.

The new student housing site is located directly behind the President’s Home.

There will be one male wing and one female wing. Each bedroom will hold two beds, two closets and one private bathroom. Additionally, floor plans include two apartments, one per wing, which will feature a private study area and kitchen.

The central learning hub will include two classrooms, offering residents a state-of-the-art living and learning experience. Other common areas include vending machines and one communal laundry room with five washers and five dryers.

Construction moves forward daily, and current updates include the pouring of concrete and steel installation. Updates will continue with aerial video footage at Reinhardt.edu/construction
