Local
school children and their parents are invited to Reinhardt College’s annual
community Trick-or-Treat starting at 5p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2005.
During the event, visitors tour through the specially decorated residence
halls, collecting candy and making memories along the way.

The annual event is a fun way for the Reinhardt students to give back to the
local community, said Monique S. Jordan, Reinhardt’s interim director of
residence life. The event also provides a safe place for families to trick
or treat, regardless of the weather.
“We are really excited about our themed halls this year and we hope kids and
parents are excited about coming here,” Jordan said. “This year, we have a
pumpkin patch in one hall and another building will have a “haunted” hall,
which will be for children seven years-old or older.”
The tour
begins in the lobby of Smith Johnston Hall (the large dorm to the right of
the front entrance of the College) on the College's main campus in Waleska,
Ga. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras for pictures on the halls
or with well-known characters like Spider Man, a character from Star Wars
and the Reinhardt Eagle. A big crowd attends each year, so Reinhardt public
safety personnel will be on hand to help with parking and traffic flow. For
