in Waleska, Ga., are inviting artists from across north Georgia
to enter the 16th Annual Cherokee County Open Juried Art
Competition. The artwork will be judged on Saturday, May 20,
2006, and the selected entries will be exhibited in the William

will be presented, will be May 27 from 5-8 p.m. The Opening
Reception and the Show are open to the public free of charge.
Paintings, drawings, graphics, sculpture, mixed media,

entry. Reinhardt students and those entering the children’s
category pay an entry fee of $20, non-members of the AAG pay an
entry fee of $35 and AAG members pay an entry fee of $45, which
includes a renewed AAG membership through 2007. Each artist may
submit up to two pieces. Reinhardt art professors Brett Mullinix
and Amanda Cook will serve as jurors.
The competition is open to all artists, not
