Local children and their parents
are invited to Reinhardt College’s annual Community
Trick-or-Treat from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2006.
During the event, visitors tour through the specially decorated
residence halls, collecting candy and making memories along the
way.
The annual event is a fun way for the Reinhardt students to give
back to the local community according to Eric Booth, Reinhardt’s
director of residence life. The event also provides a safe place
for families to trick or treat, regardless of the weather.
“Our students start planning for this event early every year,”
Booth said. “For them, it’s a chance to get creative and
entertain.”
The tour begins in the lobby of Smith Johnston Hall (the large
dorm to the right of the front entrance of the College) on the
College's main campus in Waleska, Ga. A big crowd attends each
year, so Reinhardt public safety personnel will be on hand to
help with parking and traffic flow.
