There’s a chill in the air, the
leaves are turning, and the Reinhardt campus will be bustling on
Saturday, October 21 for the College’s first Fall Family Day.
“We’ve often used the term “Reinhardt Family”, so we wanted a
true “family” day for all our members,” said Walter May,
director of student activities. “Students, parents, alumni, and
faculty and staff, along with their families are all invited to
this new fall tradition.”
The day begins at 10 a.m. with games, inflatables, a rock wall
and electric bull riding on the lawn of the James & Sis Brown
Athletic Center. Lunch will be provided by the Varsity, and
everyone can catch the men’s soccer team in action against
Brevard College at 3 p.m. To make it a full day, everyone is
also invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment at the Student
Talent Show at 7 p.m. in the Falany Performing Arts Center.
“We want this event to offer parents time to spend with their
students and alumni to visit their alma mater,” May said.
