Reinhardt Horticulturist and
alumnus Zach White ’97, has earned a national honor as a
Certified Grounds Manager with the Professional Grounds
Management Society. He is only one of three in Georgia to have
earned this distinction.
The process consists of two written exams, along with six or
more years of experience in the field and three years of
supervisory experience. Before coming to Reinhardt in 2002,
White worked with the Atlanta Botanical Gardens after earning
his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in
Athens, Ga.
“This is a great accomplishment for me, and I’m proud to earn
it,” said White, a Jasper, Ga., resident.
With an enrollment of more than 1000 students, Reinhardt College
is a four-year liberal arts institution with a residential Main
Campus in Cherokee County (Ga.) and an off campus center in
Alpharetta, Ga. Affiliated with The United Methodist Church,
Reinhardt offers 33 programs of study ranging from business,
communications and education to liberal arts, psychology and
