Celebration Dinner to Mark the
Successful Conclusion of Reinhardt College’s Capital Campaign
and the Kick Off the College’s 125 Anniversary Year
Reinhardt College President Dr. J. Thomas
Isherwood, his wife, and the College Board of Trustees will host
a formal dinner at the Cobb Galleria Centre on Thursday, January
24, 2008, to showcase the success of the College’s “Confirming
Our Commitment” Capital Campaign and kick off the College’s
125th Anniversary celebration.
"The ’Confirming Our Commitment’ Campaign began
three years ago, and we've been anticipating the time when we
could celebrate its successful conclusion,” explains JoEllen B
Wilson '61, Reinhardt’s vice president for institutional
advancement and external affairs. “I'm thrilled to have this
opportunity to thank our donors and friends for their generosity
and to provide an exciting program that recognizes Reinhardt’s
past accomplishments and outlines opportunities for our future."
Alumni, donors, faculty and staff, and friends of the College
will attend this special occasion. The program will include a
seated dinner and musical performances by Reinhardt students.
After an invocation by Student Government Association President
William Jones, Isherwood and Board of Trustees Chair William G.
Hasty Jr., will announce the Capital Campaign total. A
multimedia presentation created by Larry Webb and several
communication classes will highlight Reinhardt’s past and
present and Isherwood will conclude the evening with remarks
about the College’s future.
