Miss Reinhardt College 2007
Crowned on Oct. 19, 2007
Caitlyn
Crippin, a junior business marketing major (at left) from
Conyers, Ga., was named Miss Reinhardt 2007 on Friday, Oct. 19.
She was selected from a field of eight contestants. In her
role, she will represent Reinhardt for the next year at many
campus and community events. |

Crippins’s campus activities include basketball
cheerleading, orientation leader, Student Activities Council,
Student Government Association, paint ball club and College
Breast Cancer Walk committee. She has worked on numerous
philanthropy projects. Her career ambition is to become the
marketing director of a building and developing firm. After
Reinhardt, she plans to attend graduate school and follow the
path God has laid out for her. Her talent was a monologue from
Grey’s Anatomy.
First runner-up was
Jayme Dodd, a sophomore majoring in vocal performance and
music education from Fairmount, Ga.
Second runner-up was Rebecca Watkins, a senior public
relations and advertising major from Hiram, Ga. Watkins was also
chosen as Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants.
Third runner-up was
Lindsay Bradley, a junior majoring in vocal performance and
sacred music from Crystal River, Fla.
Fourth runner-up was
Elizabeth Perren, a junior music education major from Dallas,
Ga.
Other contestants
included Jacklyn Dowda, a junior visual communications major
from Cumming Ga.; Kaila Oliver, a junior music education major
from Cedartown, Ga.; and Alexandra Zakar, a sophomore music
education major from Marietta, Ga.
Briana Moody, a junior communication major
from Grovetown, Ga., planned and coordinated the event, and
Reginald Jacobs, a senior biology major from Talladega, Ala.,
was the emcee.
The
Competition
was open to all women who are full-time
Reinhardt students. The contestants were judged on academic
excellence, commitment to community, talent, interview and
evening gown categories
