Reinhardt College's accreditation was reaffirmed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in July 2008, and the College is scheduled for reexamination for baccalaureate and associate degree programs in 2018.
"We are one of the quality baccalaureate degree colleges in the nation recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools," explained Dr. J. Thomas Isherwood, Reinhardt president. "This affirms what we know about Reinhardt - our college is a special place of beauty, challenge and support for our students. I am very grateful to the faculty, staff, students and friends that continue to nurture this quality College."
Reinhardt was first accredited in 1953 as a two-year institution and then gained accreditation in 1994 as a four-year institution.
"Reinhardt is an institution of exceptional quality and we all should feel proud to be part of this special place of learning," said Isherwood. "We will progress with our Quality Enhancement Plan, and like other schools, submit periodic reports of its performance."
