at 8:00 PMReinhardt College Theatre Presents "Isle of Dogs" at The Canton Theater November 13-15
Do you want to find out where Shakespeare’s plays really came from? Then come out and support the Reinhardt College Theatre as they put on a theatrical production of Isle of Dogs.
“The Isle of Dogs is a hilarious comedic send-up of Elizabethan theatre, featuring a motley crew of clueless directors, bombastic actors, brassy producers, and a helpless unknown playwright named Will Shakespeare,” said Dr. Kevin Crawford, Reinhardt assistant professor of English and theatre. “When the Queen threatens to withhold arts funding because the company isn’t ‘topical’ enough, dramatic madness ensues…and the world nearly loses “Macbeth.”
The show will take the stage at the Canton Theater (171 East Main Street, Canton, Ga.) November 13 – 15 at 8:00 p.m. each night. Tickets are available for purchase at the door or at www.tix.com and are $5 for students and $10 for adults/non-students.
