Experience "a passage of time" through the visual imagery of a mother's grief. Reinhardt College is proud to present the artwork of Elaine Yurewich, January 22-31, 2009 in the William W. Fincher Jr. and Eunice L. Fincher Visual Arts Center on the College's campus in Waleska, Ga. Exhibit hours are Monday- Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
"This show is a multimedia exploration of traveling from darkness into the light, through both the artistic use of color and a therapeutic journey of life," explained Yurewich, a senior art major from Waleska. "Creating art has given me the outlet to deal with the grief and sadness after the passing of my son, Alex. I hope to use this art to help other mothers, who have lost a son or daughter, find hope and faith in their lives again."
