Marsh Selected to SSAC All-Freshman Team for Women's Basketball

One member of the 2008-09 Reinhardt College women's basketball team was honored with a postseason award from the Southern States Athletic Conference on Wednesday night. In a vote of the 11 conference head coaches, Reinhardt's Jordan Marsh was chosen to the six-member SSAC All-Freshman Team.

Marsh, a 6-foot-1 center from Chattanooga, Tenn., averaged 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Lady Eagles this past season. She played in 29 contests with 21 starts, posting two double-doubles in points and rebounds. She twice scored a career-high 15 points and in one of those games, a win over Tennessee Temple University on Jan. 20, also pulled down a career-best 12 boards.

Reinhardt concluded its 2008-09 campaign with a 9-21 overall record, including 5-15 in the SSAC.
