What weight does art have on your emotions? Find out at "In Weight"-the senior thesis art show of Dimitri R. Walker.
"The ideas of weight, gravity and connection are very important to the success of this collection," said Walker, an art major from Marietta, Ga. "Each piece should convey some emotion. In some cases, this emotion may not be easily definable, but in others, the evidence will be in the small unsolicited chuckle after viewing a particular work."
The show's opening reception is Thursday, March 19 from 7-9 p.m. in the William W. Fincher Jr. and Eunice L. Fincher Visual Arts Center on the College's campus in Waleska, Ga. Thereafter, the collection will be available for viewing Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. until Saturday, March 28.
