Reinhardt Student Receives Samuel & Vera Thomas Wilson Scholarship for 2009-10

Dr. J. Thomas Isherwood (far right), Reinhardt College president, recently presented Abbie Wilson (center), the fourth generation of her family to attend Reinhardt College, with the Samuel & Vera Thomas Wilson Scholarship for 2009-10. This scholarship, created in 2002 in memory of her great-grandparents who met while attending Reinhardt College, provides financial aid to qualifying students who are descendents of Samuel & Vera Wilson, children of West African missionaries, children of ministers or students who plan to become ministers. Also pictured are Miss Wilson's grandfather, Marvin Wilson '51 (from left), mother, Julie Van Horn Wilson '78, and father, Thomas "Brooks" Wilson '78.
