Reinhardt, in conjunction with R.M. Moore Elementary School, the College's Partner in Education, collected gifts for local families as part of the College's annual Giving Tree. College faculty, staff and students donated 60 gifts ranging from clothes and shoes, to movies and games, to dolls and footballs. The gifts will be presented to 15 local children, ages 2 to 11 years old.
"We appreciate Reinhardt College as a partner in education with our school," said Donna Chandler, parent involvement facilitator. "This is something that we see as a great service to the community, not only to the kids, but to the broader community."
Giving Tree organizers included Dr. J. Thomas Isherwood (from left), Reinhardt president; Janna Moore, Reinhardt executive administrative assistant for institutional advancement and external affairs; Chandler; and Dottie Townsend, administrative secretary, R.M. Moore Elementary School.
