Faces of Reinhardt: Meet Jean Champion!

Job title: Support Services Coordinator.

What I really do: You name it!

Years at Reinhardt: 14.

I came to Reinhardt because: I was a temp at Randstad, they had an 8-10 day assignment in the admissions office.  I never left.

I was born in: Columbus Ga., Ft Benning.

People describe me as: Funny & helpful.

Most colleagues don't know that: I sat on Elvis Presley's lap on a jet bound for Germany. (I was 5 years old)

Favorite things to do: Listen to music, read, play computer games.

Favorite quote:  "If you want to see the true measure of a man, watch how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

Proudest accomplishment so far: Raising my son to be such a hard working young man.

Pet peeve: The colored paper in our area not being kept straight.

Best advice ever received: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

What I most want to contribute to students: I want the students to know that we really do care about them, and we're all here to help when needed.

The book everyone should read: The Harry Potter Series.

The place I'd love to travel to: I would love to go to Hawaii to see the Volcanos.

Although you didn't ask, I'd like to tell you anyway: People call me Mean Jean and sometimes I can be, but most of the time, I'm a pushover.
