Job title: Assistant Professor of Biology.
What I really do: Gather knowledge through research, teach students about life on Earth, and serve the community.
Years at Reinhardt: 2 years this month.
I came to Reinhardt because: My goal was to teach at a small college in the Southeast.
One thing I would change about Reinhardt: I would add a funky little coffee shop.
I was born in: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
People describe me as: A nice guy.
Most colleagues don’t know that: I was adopted.
Favorite things to do: Read, visit with friends, travel, be in the woods.
Favorite quote: "Don't do nothing because you can't do everything. Do something. Anything" - Colleen Patrick-Goudreau.
Proudest accomplishment so far: I am most proud of the amazing group of friends that I have acquired through the years.
Pet peeve: Chewing with your mouth open!
Best advice ever received: Do what’s right and the money will follow.
Best advice for new faculty and staff: You were the best candidate interviewed; relax, be confident, and have fun.
What I most want to contribute to students: A sense of curiosity.
The book everyone should read: Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins.
The movie everyone should watch: The Black Stallion.
The person dead or alive I’d most like to meet: hmm.. that’s tough. I guess author Edward Abbey.
The place I’d love to travel to: Gabon, Africa.
