at 01:00 AM Thibaudeau Named AAC Player of Week for Softball
Reinhardt University softball player Andrea Thibaudeau was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her play from April 11-17. It marks the first time Thibaudeau has earned the weekly conference honor.
Thibaudeau Stats
Thibaudeau, a 5-foot-11 junior outfielder from Cartersville, Ga., hit .556 (5-for-9) with a home run, triple, walk, hit-by-pitch, sacrifice hit, five RBIs and five runs scored as Reinhardt went 4-0 last week in four AAC contests, improving its current winning streak to a school-record 12 games. She collected 10 total bases for a 1.111 slugging percentage and had an on-base percentage of .636. On the season, Thibaudeau has started all 42 games for the Lady Eagles and tops the squad in sacrifice flies with three. She is batting .383 with three home runs, four triples, eight doubles, 36 RBIs, 28 runs scored and 18 stolen bases. Within the AAC, Thibaudeau ranks among the top 10 in several offensive statistical categories. She is second in triples, tied for second in RBIs, third in total bases (71) and third in stolen bases.
Team Stats
Reinhardt is ranked No. 21 nationally in the NAIA and has a 34-8 overall record, including 12-0 in the conference. The Lady Eagles are on the road for an AAC doubleheader with the Tennessee Wesleyan College Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday. The first game is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Athens, Tenn. Return to Previous Page
