Whitewater Rafting on the Nantahala River

North Carolina's shimmering Nantahala River offers river rafting through rapids, from mild to exciting. The Nantahala features eight miles of practice on Class II rapids before splashing through the exciting Class III whitewater of Nantahala Falls. This is one of America’s most popular whitewater runs!

Trip Fee: $30 students, $35 faculty/staff.

Sign-up/Payment Deadline: 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 8th.

Pre-trip meeting: 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 8th – Reinhardt Central

Please Note: Once you have made your reservation online you will need to pay the Trip Fee in the Business Office located on the main floor of the Burgess Administration Building before the deadlines stated above.  Pre-trip meetings are mandatory unless prior arrangements have been made with RU Outdoors Staff.
