  03/24/2017 Registration is open for Reinhardt’s 29th annual Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic
Reinhardt University will host its 29th annual Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic at the beautiful Capital City Club - Crabapple on May 2. “The Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic has provided more than $3 million in scholarships for Reinhardt University students,” said Dale Morrissey, director of development and external relations for Reinhardt. “We are excited to host this year’s tournament at Capital City Club – Crabapple in Milton.   03/24/2017 Reinhardt's Dana Hall selected to review Oxford University Press book
Dr. Dana Hall, assistant professor of business and MBA program coordinator in Reinhardt University’s McCamish School of Business, recently reviewed a new publication for the Oxford University Press geared at perfecting the first edition of the “Engineering Communication Manual.” “A request to review a textbook published by Oxford University Press, one of the most revered and prestigious names in higher education, is indeed an honor. The Oxford University Press, a department of Oxford University, is the largest university press in the world and is the second oldest, founded in 1586,” Hall said. “I was particularly intrigued to review a text about Engineering Communication, with the core premise that while professionals are educated to be expert in a specific area, they may not be able to effectively communicate.”     Read More >>

  03/24/2014 Canton UMC Women’s Bible Study group dedicates FPAC chair to the late Jackie Hill
The Falany Performing Arts Center at Reinhardt University received another donation for the Center’s Founder’s Club Endowed Fund, this one given in memory of the late Jacqueline “Jackie” Hill by members of the women’s Bible study program that she established at Canton First United Methodist Church. During the ceremony held March 22 in the Ken White Atrium of the FPAC, members of Mrs. Hill’s Bible study spoke about her, as did Reinhardt University President Dr. Kina S. Mallard. “Scripture tells us to encourage, as we’ve heard spoken of here today. It also tells us to labor together. Thank you to the Jackie’s Bible study class for organizing this today, a true labor of love,” Mallard said.     Read More >>

Social/digital marketing has the power to transforms organizations, and it’s important to deploy it strategically and responsibly. That was the message from Josh Martin, senior director for digital and social media at Arby’s, during the March 22 Community Gathering held at Reinhardt University. Martin was named one of the top 10 social media managers in the food industry following an innocuous tweet during the 2014 GRAMMYs. High school and college band students rejoice – a new professor focused on wind instruments and conducting will call Reinhardt University home in the fall. Daniel Kirk will join the School of Performing Arts as assistant professor of music and director of instrumental activities.
