How to Earn Credit for Your Work Experience
(Experiential Learning Credits)
If you have been in the workforce for a number of years, you
have gained experience that may earn you college credits toward
your degree.
By working with one of our staff and/or faculty through the
Experiential
Learning Credit Process, you may be able to earn credits for
up to two college courses.
 |
Register for and attend the
experiential learning seminar. |
The seminar provides a realistic and
practical approach to creating a portfolio for Experiential
Learning Credit. It explains how to do a self-inventory on
knowledge and skills, how to match learning with a Reinhardt
College course, and how to assemble a portfolio. This
includes writing a narrative and providing appropriate
documentation. The seminar also provides information on the
steps in the assessment process and the resources available
to students.
-
Attendance is mandatory for all
students submitting portfolios.
-
Seminar is offered at the North
Fulton Center during Fall and Spring semesters.
-
You will be advised regarding
credits required for your degree program and how they
fit with portfolio assessment.
