Darina Lepadatu, Assistant
Professor of Sociology at Kennesaw State university, will be
speaking in the upper level of the Hill Freeman Library and
Spruill Learning Center on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 2:45
p.m. This event offered to the public free of charge.
The
title of her talk is "From Strangers to Citizens: A Comparison
of Immigration to US and Romania"
Dr. Lepadatu was born and raised in Romania and offers both a
professional and personal account of immigration and life
comparisons between the U.S. and Romania.
