Sites
The 540-acre Main Campus is in Waleska, Ga., about 45 minutes northwest of Atlanta, Ga., and is easily
accessible from I-75, I-575 and Ga. 515.
The
North Fulton Center of Reinhardt
College is on Old Milton
Parkway in Alpharetta, Ga., in northern Fulton County, easily accessible from
Ga. 400.
Accreditation
and Approvals
Accreditation
Reinhardt is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award associate and
baccalaureate degrees and a master of business administration degree.

The Eulene Holmes Murray Department of Music is an accredited member of
the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
Reinhardt College is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards
Commission to recommend certification in early childhood education,
middle grades education, secondary English language arts education,
secondary biology education and music education.
The University Senate of the United Methodist Church has approved
Reinhardt College to be listed as a United Methodist-affiliated
institution.

Enrollment
(fall ’07) and Academic Focus
1028 students; 2% are graduate; 35% are upperclassmen;
88% are full-time, 12% are
part-time; 58% are female, 42% are male. Our student to faculty ratio is
13:1. Average freshman class size is 15.
Student
Life
Reinhardt fields
13 intercollegiate teams: men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, cross country, tennis
and golf; men’s
baseball; and women's volleyball and fast-pitch softball.
Cheerleading and dance team
are related clubs. More information on intercollegiate athletics.
The student activities
council plans dances, service projects, coffee houses and movie
nights. More information on SAC.
Activities
include: an outdoors program, intramurals and student government; groups
focusing on service, leadership, the arts, spiritual growth, music,
entertainment and academic disciplines, as well as a literary magazine,
a newspaper, a TV station and a radio station.
Seven residence halls,
with a variety of room configurations, are
available. Approximately 53% of the Waleska Campus population live
in residence halls (fall ’07). For

Programs

students with specific learning disabilities. For more information,

The Honors Program offers in-depth and challenging courses for students
who excel academically.
Graduates
& Alumni
In 2007, Reinhardt awarded 214 degrees. The
College has more than 10,000 living alumni. Almost 82 percent of recent
classes had found jobs or been accepted into graduate school by

Support
Reinhardt is supported by alumni,
friends, parents, foundations, corporations, and organizations, as well as
the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church, individual
churches and Sunday school classes.

Budget
Total operating budget for 2007-08 is $18.1 million.
Economic
Impact
The College’s economic impact in 2003 was $42.3 million, as determined by a study sponsored by the Georgia Foundation for
Independent Colleges and conducted by the Econometric Center at Kennesaw State
University.
Endowment
The College's endowment is presently $52.86
million. These funds are used for purposes that are consistent with
donor wishes. They support student scholarships, faculty research and
the expansion and maintenance of campus facilities.
Student
Aid
Reinhardt College awards merit,
leadership, athletic, United Methodist, academic division and need-based
aid scholarships and grants to eligible students.
Students who are legal
residents of Georgia may be eligible to receive the Georgia Tuition
Equalization Grant and/or the HOPE Scholarship. Cherokee County residents
may qualify for the Cherokee County Grant, as well.
Many sources of financial
aid, including grants, loans, student-work and scholarships, assist
students and their families with the costs associated with attending
college. Please contact the Office of Student Financial Aid for further
assistance.
For
fall of 2007, approximately 94% of students attending Reinhardt received some
form of financial aid. Almost 58%
received Federal aid, while almost 85% received institutional aid. The
average award for students receiving financial aid was approximately
$6,865/year.
