Convocation of Artists & Scholars
The Annual Convocation of Artists and Scholars
Reinhardt's best student minds and talent convene every spring for the University's Annual Convocation of Artists & Scholars or COAS. The week boasts music recitals, creative writing readings, a student research conference, a student-teacher portfolio exhibit, student art and science exhibits, internship presentations and a leadership conference. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this unique scholarly event.
Showcasing Student Achievements
"The Convocation of Artists & Scholars is a celebration of the artistic and scholarly achievements of our students," says Dr. Wayne Glowka, dean of arts and humanities. "We want to show what makes Reinhardt different as a university of its smaller size-the ability to, in one large-scale event, showcase our high achieving students as models for emulation."
