About the Price School of Education, PSOE

The mission of all teacher preparation programs in the Price School of Education at Reinhardt College is to produce reflective, problem-solving teachers who are able to meet diverse student needs through "differentiated instruction."  This kind of innovative instruction is driven by ongoing assessment and takes place within a nurturing environment of care and challenge.

Reinhardt offers six education programs and each is adapted to cover indepth the teaching methods and subject content needed to excel in the classroom.

Jacob Griffith '08 is an 8th grade Georgia Studies teacher at Austin Middle School in Douglasville, Ga.  He has completed Master of Education in Adolescent Social Studies and is now working on an Educational Specialist Degree in Secondary Social Studies He credits Reinhardt with many of the educational beliefs and techniques that he uses daily.
