"The honors classes challenged me to think outside of the box, but more importantly they challenged me to challenge my classmates, which led to very interesting and enlightening discussions."

Reinhardt University Honors Program
The Honors Program at Reinhardt University provides a supportive learning community for academic achievers.
What can you expect?
Our students say they enjoy the stimulating class discussions and creative assignments.
First and second year students take one or two honors core courses a semester for part of the schedule. Then juniors and seniors take a special course--called Honors Reading Room--that allows interdisciplinary discussion about an important book.
Equally important: developing friendships with others who share a passion for learning.
There are other tangible academic and scholarship rewards as well:
- an enhanced university transcript--with individual courses noted as "Honors"
- an Honors Program Certificate and participation in spring Honors Day
- a designation as Honors Program Graduate at the graduation ceremony and an Honors Program seal on the baccalaureate diploma
- an annual Honors Program scholarship toward the cost of tuition
