Spring Meeting, 2017

Our spring meeting will be held at Kennesaw State University on Saturday, February 18. Thanks to Brian Swain for the local arrangements.

Our schedule is as follows:

11:00: Thomas J. MacMaster, Kennesaw State University: “The Virginal Slave? Honor, slavery, and sanctity in the early medieval world”

11:30: Wendy Turner, Augusta University: “Irish and English Law on Treatment of the Mentally Impaired”

Lunch at the KSU Dining Commons

1:30 Alice Klima, University of Georgia: “Statutes as Structure: The Bohemian Monastery at Roudnice on the Elbe”

2:30 Brian Swain, Kennesaw State University: “Coping as a Roman Goth During a Roman-Gothic War: The Case of Jordanes”

The day's events will take place in Social Sciences Building room 4060. For the morning KSU will provide coffee and an assortment of refined sugary carbs. You will find parking in the West Deck parking garage which is adjacent to the Social Sciences Building. Parking is free on the weekends.
