New Student OrientationNew Student Orientation

Congratulations to our new Eagles and welcome to Reinhardt University!

New Student Orientation (NSO) will be your first real taste of life as an Eagle and will help you “Earn Your Wings.”

The Office of Student Activities is excited to share this experience with you and can't wait to introduce you to the Reinhardt family.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • NSO is required for all undergraduate first-year, transfer and nontraditional undergraduate degree seeking students enroll at the Main Campus of Reinhardt University.
  • Students admitted to our WAIT, adult degree or graduate degree programs will receive information pertaining to course registration directly from the individual program of study.

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a two-part process: SOARand Eagle Bound.

SOAR is the first step of the orientation process and is a series of one-day sessions for new students and their families that occur during the summer. During your SOAR session, you will learn about life and resources at Reinhardt and you will have an opportunity to meet with a faculty advisor to finalize your fall course schedule. You will leave SOAR with your fall class schedule in hand.

Eagle Bound is the next step in a smooth transition to Reinhardt University and will take place the weekend before the start of fall semester (Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18). Eagle Bound is a great opportunity for new students to experience a weekend on campus before classes begin.

Enrollment in each NSO session and each academic class is limited to ensure that you receive personal attention, just one of the advantages you’ll find at Reinhardt University. When a session or academic class reaches capacity, it is closed, so please be sure to respond promptly.

By completing the online reservation form you are reserving your place at NSO.

While friends and family can offer good advice, you, the student, should fill out your own online reservation form to ensure the answers on this form reflect your preferences and not theirs.

Once you have completed the online reservation process, we will send you an e-mail confirmation which will include your NSO date and time as well as other pertinent information.

Non-Traditional/Adult Students: First-time freshmen and transfer students who are over the age of 25, with families and/or established careers are considered non-traditional students and thus are invited to attend one of the NSO sessions. However, if you are admitted to our WAIT, adult degree programs or graduate programs, you will receive information pertaining to course registration directly from the individual program of study.
