Reinhardt University Scholarship Donor Reception
An Annual Celebration of Generosity
Thank you, donors!
Each year, the Office of Development is pleased to host a Scholarship Donor Reception in April. During this event, we offer students the opportunity to thank the generous men and women who have supported Reinhardt University through scholarship endowments and annual contributions.
Last year, donors and student scholarship recipients met on Sunday, April 19, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Bannister Glasshouse of the Hasty Student Life Center.
Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and desserts as students, faculty and staff said "Thank You" to the donors who have provided funding for scholarships at Reinhardt. Also, guests enjoyed the sounds of the Reinhardt University Jazz Ensemble and the inspirational words of our special guest speaker, Chanda Aebersold Bell '94, Reinhardt alumna and coauthor of the best-selling book, "The Elf on the Shelf." She shared how her Reinhardt experience shaped her career and successes. "I had butterflies in my stomach as I drove to campus today," she said. "I was so excited to have the opportunity to come back here." Mrs. Bell told students and donors how significant her time at Reinhardt has been to her in many areas of her life and how she would not have been able to attend without the assistance of scholarships.
