Campus Ministry

Not Because We Have To - Because We Want To!

Come worship with our family of faith! Join in as we learn about our Lord and savior! Our campus ministry provides opportunities of spiritual nurture and development for Reinhardt students, faculty and staff through worship, study, service, and fellowship. Help us show God's love through serving our community, faculty and school.

Virtual Chapel Messages

  • Chapel - Every Thursday (2:00-2:35) of fall and spring semester, the entire Reinhardt community is invited to an ecumenical chapel service in the Hagan Chapel (Waleska UMC) where God is worshiped in a variety of ways. These services are coordinated by College Chaplain, Rev. Leigh Martin along with the students, faculty, and staff of Reinhardt College.

  • Real Deal – On Wednesday nights students gather in the Glass House (Hasty Student Life Center) for a time of singing, praying, sharing and studying scripture.

  • Virtual Chapel – Chapel comes to you in these weekly email devotionals from the College Chaplain. These devotionals include a centering verse and a brief reflection. You are invited to read and reflect on these devotionals.  Please follow the Virtual Chapel link above.

  • Wesley Lecture - This series of lectures was initiated in 2003 by Reinhardt President Dr. J. Thomas Isherwood. He envisioned bringing speakers on campus each year who would engage the College community with challenging perspectives on faith.

  • Spring Break Mission Trip – Every year the Chaplain’s office coordinates an alternate spring break experience for Reinhardt students, faculty, and staff. These trips are often the highlight of the year and provide a great opportunity to serve others and to experience God in a new way

  • Service Learning – Campus ministry sponsors several mission/service opportunities during the year. These efforts combine campus, community, and world outreach with individual reflections and social awareness.

  • E-mail Prayer Chain – Students, faculty and staff are invited to sign up to receive prayer concerns and celebrations from the Reinhardt College family.

  • Small Groups – Students are encouraged to become involved in a small group coordinated by the Chaplain’s office. These provide students with a spiritual point of connection and support in the midst of the busy and demanding life of a college student.

  • Retreats – Several spiritual retreats are offered to students each year. These retreats vary in nature from exploring the call into ordained ministry to worshiping with other college students around the state at the Georgia Wesley Student Movement Retreat.

  • Student Ministry Council – This is a coordinating body for religious life on campus. Its purpose is to build up the body of Christ at Reinhardt by upholding on another in prayer and spreading God’s love throughout the Reinhardt College campus.
