Walter received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Millsaps University and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education and Student Personnel from the University of Mississippi. He received a Doctorate degree in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University, where his dissertation focused on the experience of students who serve as student government presidents. In his free time, Walter likes to spend time with his wife, Eloise, and daughter, Ella. He also enjoys hiking and camping and just spending time in the great outdoors.

Meredith comes to Reinhardt from Old Dominion University (“ODU”) where she received a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education. While at ODU as she served as the Interim Coordinator for Community Service and Graduate Assistant for Service in the Office of Leadership and Student Involvement. Meredith received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University where she was involved in many aspects of the campus community including Volunteer LSU. As Coordinator of Student Programming and Service, Meredith will be responsible for providing innovative student-centered programs that focus on student programming, service-learning, leadership development, and diversity/awareness initiatives. She will also serve as the primary advisor to the Student Activities Council. Meredith enjoys encouraging and mentoring student leaders throughout their college experience. For fun, Meredith trains in improvisational comedy.

Irene is the Group Exercise Coordinator at the Canton Family YMCA and has worked there since they opened in 2005. She loves working with people and supporting them as they work to reach their health & fitness goals. In addition to helping facilitate the Group Ex Classes here at Reinhardt, Irene teaches classes, does Personal Training & teaches small group TRX Classes. Irene Coordinates the Group Ex Staff of 35+ Instructors & the monthly schedule for Land & Water Exercise classes at the Y where they offer over 60 classes a week. She loves it at the Y and at Reinhardt. She enjoys the energy of the college students here at Reinhardt. She loves to ride her road bike & play outside with friends.

After growing up in Marietta, Ga., Andy graduated from Reinhardt with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in management. As a Reinhardt student, he played baseball for the Eagles, was a Campus Ministry intern, President of Reinhardt Athletes for Christ Every day (R.A.C.E.), a Resident Assistant, and a three time winner of the McCamish School of Business Leadership Award.

Andy now lives in Canton with his wife, Hannah and his dog, Butters. In his free time he loves both playing and watching sports, going to Watermark Church in Canton, and spending time with his wife and friends.

Jon will be joining Reinhardt again this year as a sophomore. Majoring in Graphic Design and Photography, he quickly joined The Hiltonian as a sports and event photographer. He has been doing photography now for five years with a strong focus in sports and portraiture. “It all started when my teacher in high school threw a camera in my hands and told me to take some pictures of a student playing basketball. I took the camera and never set it back down” –Jon

Along with working with the Hiltonian, Jon will also be an RA this year, building relationships and helping the students on campus achieve their goals as he works towards his.

Zach received a Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Reinhardt College  and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Georgia. He has worked at Reinhardt for over 10 years as the Campus Horticulturalist. He also has coordinated the restoration of the Burgess Arboretum on the Reinhardt Campus and started the Waleska Farmers Market at Reinhardt University. In 2011 he was awarded the Reinhardt Bridge Award from the Reinhardt Faculty and given the Key to the City of Waleska from the City of Waleska for his work on Campus.

Zach is passionate about  Environmental stewardship on the Reinhardt University Campus and looking forward to Growing the RU Green Program this year.
