Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting

Reinhardt University’s McCamish School of Business seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting (tenure track or one-year renewable) to commence fall 2014 term (Mid-August).  

McCamish School of Business offers the BS in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting, general business, management and marketing; the BA in Organizational Management and Leadership, and the MBA. The BA and MBA programs are offered at Reinhardt University’s extended sites in 8 weeks, one-evening a week format.

Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and master’s level courses in all areas of accounting during the day and evening on the main campus in Waleska, GA, at extended sites in Cartersville and North Fulton County, and online.  This position carries a teaching load of 12 semester hours (4 courses) per semester and requires a strong commitment to student advising and mentorship, professional development, scholarly achievement, and service to the Reinhardt University, the McCamish School of Business, and the surrounding community.

Applicants must have an earned PhD or DBA in accounting from a regionally accredited school, with a minimum of 30 graduate hours in accounting and hold an active CPA license. Teaching experience at a four year college or university is preferred.
