and clothes, since we will be outdoors for part of the

Classroom teachers, homeschool parents, scout leaders,
other youth group leaders and the general public
Course
Description:
Day 1 -
Georgia's Native Seasons:
In this interactive workshop you
will explore the changes that occur in the flora and fauna
throughout the Georgia seasons. Curriculum and resources will be
provided including over 80 hands-on activities which are a great
addition to any outdoor classroom lesson plan.
Day 2 - The
Leopold Education Project (LEP)
This innovative,
interdisciplinary, critical thinking, conservation and
environmental education curriculum is based on the classic writings
of the renowned conservationist, Aldo Leopold. LEP teaches the
public about humanity's ties to the natural environment in the
effort to conserve and protect the earth's natural resources.
Participants will receive an 87-page curriculum guide.
Registration
fee:
$25 per person for one
day and $40 for both days.
