          Social Studies

  • Topic:  Georgia's First People  
  • How do we know how Georgia's first people lived? Archaeologists and Artifacts
  • Creek/Cherokee culture 
  • Discuss tools used, food, clothing, homes, trading and bartering. 
  • Compare the lifestyles of Eastern Woodlands and Plains Indians


           Fine Arts

  • Topic: Connections
    Standard: Discusses how culture and environment provide inspiration for creating artworks.
  • Topic: Historical and Cultural Context
    Standard: Makes statements about the functions (purposes) of particular artworks and the culture that produced them.
