Beginning in January
2008, suitcase programs will be
available in Cherokee County school classrooms.
Students will see artifacts, clothing, and reproductions that
represent these themes. During a 45-minute program, children will
hear stories, learn about the lives of people during these times,
and engage in an activity. Programs will be scheduled based upon the
availability of presenters.
Teachers can select from
three themes:
|
Life During
the Civil War |

American Indians
of the Southeast
|

Pioneer Children
of Appalachia |
