Applying for Admission

We are excited to work with you through the admissions process.  The admissions staff looks forward to learning more about you and assisting you in any way that we can. 

Information on how to apply as a freshman or transfer student is listed below.  For all other students (international, dual enrolled/MOWR, etc.), please select your student type from the list on the left.  For applicants to our adult and online programs, please visit http://www.reinhardt.edu/working_adults/Admission/index.html.  Applicants for Reinhardt’s graduate programs should visit http://www.reinhardt.edu/Graduate/Apply-Now.html

How to Apply as an Incoming Freshman

  1. Complete an application.  You can apply online or contact the admissions office to request a paper application.
  2. Have an official, sealed copy of your high school transcript sent to Reinhardt.
  3. Have an official SAT or ACT score report sent to Reinhardt.  Test scores are not required if you are age 21 or older.  You may order your scores from www.collegeboard.org or www.act.org.
  4. After you have been accepted, submit your $150 tuition deposit to guarantee your spot for your first semester.
  5.  Before the first week of class, have your final high school transcripts sent to Reinhardt.

How to Apply as a Transfer Student

  1. Complete an application.  You can apply online or contact the admissions office to request a paper application.
  2. Submit an official, sealed transcript from every college, university or technical school that you have previously attended.
  3. If you have earned fewer than 30 total combined transferable semester hours or 45 total combined transferable quarter hours, also submit your final high school transcript and an official report of your SAT or ACT scores.  If you are 21 or older, you are not required to submit test scores.
  4. After you have been accepted, submit your $150 tuition deposit to guarantee your spot for your first semester.
  5. Be sure to request a final transcript from your last institution prior to your enrollment at Reinhardt.

*Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for admission will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

Admission decisions are not based on religion, race, creed, color, gender, marital status, or national origin.  Admission to Reinhardt University does not guarantee admission to a specific degree program, such as teacher education or music.  See individual degree programs for admission information.
