Dr. Joann A. Adeogun, PHR

Associate Professor of Business

Dr. Joann Adeogun, PHR has a D.B.A. in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University,  MS in Human Resource Management from Troy University and a BS in Business Management from Shorter College.  

Her certifications include: Professional in Human Resource Management (PHR) and AQIP Reviewer/ Systems Appraiser for the Higher Learning Commission. 

She has worked as a consultant, Director of Compliance, Director of IE, Portal Coordinator, Trainer and HR Manager/Generalist.  She especially likes teaching HR and Business courses both on-ground and online.

Her research interests include: employee motivation, rewards and recognition, organizational behavior/development, job satisfaction/performance and social media affects on the hiring process as the “gatekeeper.”
