Advantage Program at Reinhardt College in
Public Safety Leadership
The focus of the Advantage Program in
Public Safety Leadership is not to produce better law
enforcement officers, firefighters, or EMTs, but rather to
produce men and women who are prepared to be effective leaders
in their respective agencies. The Public Safety Leadership
Program is the first specialty program developed using Reinhardt
College’s Organizational Leadership model. Like the original
program, it includes 48 credit hours of coursework leading to a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership, but this
program delves more deeply into public safety. Students will
take the five courses required of all Organizational Leadership
graduates, and three courses specifically focused on public
safety leadership issues.
The program will meet the needs of students
who:
 |
are already employed by a public
safety agency, |
 |
and already have education and/or
training in a specific public safety area, i.e., law
enforcement, firefighting or emergency medical
services. |
